More than almost anything else in life, The SoapCo love an amazing soundtrack to an amazing film.
We thought it was about time we put together a selection of some of the most atmospheric, evocative and moving music that we know exists in this genre.
We've tried to avoid the 'Tarantino' route, there's no mix & match 'lost classics' here, we've simply just chosen original score music at its purest, most distilled and most natural.
The pieces are mostly classical, but intertwined within, are some beautifully melodic songs and ambient pieces which fit beautifully within.
You may need someone's hand to hold along with this mix, there's some hugely melancholy passages, but we hope you love it as much as we do.
