Here at SoapCo HQ, we hope in the time we've been bringing you the sounds that matter, you've noticed one thing over everything else...That 'The Song' is key.
Whether it be the most chilled, the most frantic, the weirdest, the most innovative or the most apparently normal, we hunt high and low mostly for something that spells 'Class' in it's craft in whatever genre.
With this epic 2 part show, we reckon we're going out on a limb.
The style of music within has been hounded, harangued and flat out derided or decades now, even to the extent of people having to cover their 'respect' for it under the cop-out heading of a 'Guilty Pleasure'.
Well, We're here to reclaim 'The Soft', we're proud to shout from the rooftops, this isn't 'uncool', but song-writing skill at it's most pure and heightened. It may, on the surface, lack the passion and anger associated with music of the 'cool', but don't be deceived, dip in and surf the sweetness, you'll see!
