Literally...The calm before the storm...
In our current DJ residency, we like to play as eclectic a set as we can because we play close on 6/7 hours every night, so to keep it fresh, we'll play your cat and your dog and your mum if it sounds swish enough.
What we do always do however, is finish with some power, be it Minimal Tech, D&B, Industrial sized Electronica...Basically anything that gets the pulse racing.
What we also always do, which you might not know about, is precede it with some of the sweetest & most beautiful sounding build up material we can possibly muster up, this mix being typical of our brief in this particular window, hence, The calm before the storm...
