Straight up House mix Sept18

I present to you another set in the Straight up house series.

This is an occasional thing I put together with a range of tracks collected that don’t quite fit the deeper sets in house and techno. It’s a real mixed bag of techy, proggy, piano laden house music in parts that jump about in sound, style and energy. The unifying thing about all of them is the straight up sound of the tracks selected which have that old skool early years of house vibe music for me.

PS I have tagged this as House only, which means it will go absolutely nowhere in any chart. Which is fine with me. It still beats labelling it Dub techno, Deep techno, Electronica and all the other inaccurately tagged sets which permeate Mixcloud at the moment. Part of the solution not part of the problem. Mixcloud sort it out.
