I thought I would start a new series of classic mixes, inspired by some of my favourite dj’s that I used to listen to in the 90’s, there were many dj’s that influenced me back in the day with the music they played and the style of their sets, but where better to start then with the man who had the most influence on me as an aspiring dj. Tony De Vit, still in my opinion one of the greatest djs to ever grace a set of turntables, I remember listening to his sets and was just being blown away, not just by the music but by the way he would build and build the set up getting the crowd more and more hyper. This is still very much how I play my sets to this day purely inspired from the days/years of listening to Tony’s sets. And still to this day I am finding mixes of his I haven’t heard before and tunes that still blow me away. This is the first volume in the influenced series, a series of mixes featuring some of my personal favourites that these dj’s used to play back in the good old days.
