SanFrisco Deep Soul Part two. The second half of a story that started with a record collection I no longer have.
It began with BigTurtle's JZN (001) show with BigT. That mix took me straight back to the early 2000's, when I owned a serious stack of jazz house records. They are gone. The sound never left. That is what led to the first SanFrisco Deep Soul, and this is where it continues.
Naked Music carries this one. Miguel Migs, Lisa Shaw, Aquanote and Eric Stamile in the details. Trentemøller turns up with two remixes that push it somewhere darker, and Sébastien Léger's rework of Alcatraz closes the Yoshitoshi circle.
And then there is Gaelle. Give It Back is in here as Eric's Wollman Dub, the more dancefloor version. The original version is tattooed on my heart. If you do not know it, go find it after this mix.
