“Tangata” means People in Māori language. There’s an old Māori proverb saying : "He aha te mea nui? He tangata. He tangata. He tangata." which can be translate by "What is the most important thing? It is people, it is people, it is people.”

Jaze Baqti has begun a musical journey across USA, NZ & JP. and the album tracks he’s made on the road have been inspired by places he has visited & people he met along the way.

We’ve been waiting for this mix of Jaze Baqti’s inspirations for a little time now with a back catalogue as deep as the abyss he embodies the jazz & soul influences of many begone artists re interpreted and morphed into a present day appreciation of the old forms.
