Sounds Supreme X Grooveman Spot

Hailing from Sendai, Japan, Grooveman Spot (aka DJ Kou-G) is a key figure of the world renowned Japan music label Jazzy Sport. Grooveman Spot caught the musical bug as a teenager, first as a hiphop dancer and then a DJ. Heavily influenced by the legendary Funkmaster Flex, Japan's own King of Diggin' DJ Muro and the pioneering Japanese hiphop group Microphone Pager, Grooveman Spot later formed his own duo "ENBULL" with MC U-Zipplain in 1996. Mentored by renown beatmaker / DJ Watarai and reminisces the classic sound of US hiphop legends Pete Rock and DJ Premier. Having swapped beats and ideas for many years with fellow Sendai native DJ/ beatmaker Mitsu The Beats (GAGLE), the two ended up as label mates under Jazzy Sport for their eclectic, world-acclaimed solo albums.
