Radio Hour #158: Fantastic Four

Peeps from near and far – rejoice as the new radio hour is upon us! The second show of 2014 and we do it proper! We do it jazzy!

Jazz is the signature sound of the 158th show. We bring you tracks fresh as spring water alongside jams a good few years old but still sounding sweet as honey. That’s the thing with good music – it never gets old. Or in fact, some of the tracks we play get better over time. Just like a bottle of delicious wine.
We have quite a few features on the show. We are taking a closer look at three compilation albums – Nite Grooves has released a truly amazing “Abstract Afro Vibes” with tracks released in the past two decades. We’re also taking a closer look on Gotta Keep Faith compilation “Afro Latin House” which celebrates 9 years of the Italian label.
And to celebrate five years of Deeper Shades Recordings we have a compilation put together by the labels very own Lars Behrenroth.
