Acid House is not just a style of music or a 303. It's a very special era of my life. It changed me, defines me and still holds the cores values of what i believe in, freedom, fun, friends, love, kindness and of course the music close to my heart. The second summer of love of 1989 was a special time. This music i was hearing as a kid blasting out speakers by pirate radio stations i held in wonder, it was new, exciting, different, full of energy and positive vibes. The stories i was hearing about these crazy parties happening around me from my older friends i knew attending these events held some mystical value i just had to explore. I shortlisted 233 tracks for this mix and some of my favorite records. Not all would you call strictly "Acid House" but if you know your music and are a part of this scene you will understand why they are in this mix.
