Special Interest are a fantastically exciting dance-punk group out of New Orleans, whose songs make you want to shake your ass and ask you to consider socio-political revolution.

The conversation touches on getting through the “demonic” decade of their twenties; adding more pop elements to their writing as a way to pull through depression; and the relationship between music and resistance in 2022.
Then, Alli and Nathan share an incredible guest set featuring some of Special Interest’s formative influences and current favorites.
