Every music supervisor has a stash of tracks they’ve earmarked for future use in a project. Sometimes they are well-known songs, but mostly, these are deep-cut, obscure, and beloved songs. With each episode of Imaginary Soundtracks, host DJ Bunny Ears (aka Eric David Johnson) will bring in a fellow music supervisor to have a chat and build an incredible playlist together – effectively creating an imaginary soundtrack made of hidden-gems.
For the final episode of season one, Bunny Ears welcomes Bec Adams, an Australian-born/Los Angeles based music supervisor, DJ and owner of female-led music marketing agency, Les Filles. They chat about Bec’s music career, originally beginning in NYC as a lawyer by day and DJ by night and how that evolved into starting her own agency that could empower women creating work at the intersection of music and brands. Bec shares music spanning her childhood up to the very present.
