Karl is joined by a UK jazz heavyweight - drummer, bandleader, composer and producer Emanative! A prolific collaborator with everyone from Four Tet to Idris Ackamoor and Peter Zummo, Nick’s eclectic tastes push his music all over the map, but its spiritual jazz roots run deep. He’s made records for leading UK labels like Brownswood, Jazzman and On The Corner - full of trance-like percussion, meditative grooves, and boundary-pushing improvisation.

He picks out some inspiration tracks and chats about his roots in music - ahead of playing the next Deeper Cuts live night with Plumm, on November 19th at Paper Dress Vintage, as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival.
