Gemma is joined by two composers for this edition; hour one (via Zoom) Adam Lewis shares what it is like as a composer to have Tourette Syndrome, how he began as an actor and musician, but producing a track for KiDULTHOOD was a catalyst for him becoming a film/TV composer ; we'll hear some of his cues to his scores for Baker Boys, Silent Witness and new solo work from his forthcoming E.P 2:10 am; Hour 2 Michael 'Mikey J' Asante is the in-studio guest, and he talks about scoring the film 'Kneecap' which won him a BIFA award along with an Ivor Novello nomination , how this film led him to a chance and pivotal encounter with Robert Glasper at Sundance, working with Danny Boyle on 'Free Your Mind ', several productions with theatre director Jamie Lloyd, his work as co-founder of Boy Blue dance company and the music he heard growing up which planted the seeds of inspiration for him to later become a producer and composer.
