This is the second part of a conversation with Alaura O’Dell, formerly known as Paula P-Orridge. In the first part, we traced Alaura’s journey from being a schoolgirl in East London through meeting and marrying the provocative musician and cultural provocateur Genesis P-Orridge, to becoming part of the band Psychic TV and the occult network Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth (TOPY)

We heard about Alaura's role —not just as a participant, but as organiser and practitioner - the one “who handled the workings” - the practical magick behind the grand metaphysical ideas. We spoke about Britain's infamous 'Satanic Panic', the accusations of moral deviance and implied child abuse in the press, and the police raids that followed.
