Jelly Jells started collecting records in the mid 2000’s, and cut his teeth spinning at Jams and parties for dancers in the breakdance scene. Went on to form Just Jam, in Newcastle Upon Tyne, (one of the most respected Breakdance events in the UK for over 10 years) with his crew Bad Taste. Jelly organised the party aspect of the event, an event famous for its party vibe, attracting dancers from all over Europe and beyond. Jelly became a pillar of the Newcastle Party scene for throughout the 2010’s, playing bars and clubs. Known for his unique blend of Dance Floor Funk, spinning bangers from across the planet, African Funk, Latin Killers, and Reggae tinged Disco gems, earning him a reputation for, exposing old music to new ears, poppin’ off new venues and throwing some of the hypest parties the city had to offer.
