On the 11th of May '26 KaneFM and Mindwaves hosted youngsters from the Green Room School to immerse them in live radio broadcasting. I was honoured to be the host and show them the ropes, they all did a great job and stepped up to takes turns to learn how to mix and do shout outs.
Mindwaves is a Kane FM initiative to support young people with learning differences and wellbeing challenges through electronic music, radio and community - helping build confidence, independence and a real sense of belonging.
The Green Room School does amazing work supporting young people who may struggle in mainstream education by helping them build confidence, independence and a sense of belonging through a more personalised and nurturing approach to learning.
