Kurt Westwood, a Southern born Dj, Composer, Producer and Audio Engineer, from New Orleans, Louisiana, has been at the nexus of music and nightlife for over 15 years. Westwood has successfully channeled his diversity into his most recent release, Keep Pushin Dinosaurs, all the while maintaining a longstanding bridge between the underground and mainstream. Westwood’s work with Grammy Award winning producer, Robert Margoulleff who’s worked along side artists such as Stevie Wonder, Devo, and Boyz II Men, has inspired his creativity and unique vision to unite his love of underground dance, mainstream EDM and House music. Westwood began playing nightclubs and underground raves in 1999 under the direction of famed rave promoter Disco Donnie and Dj Stryfe (Dan Milstein from Virgin Records).
