Can you feel it? Spring is just about here. There’s new energy at the foot, and ready or not, here LIFE comes! It’s a potent time for new intentions and supporting what wants to emerge. Heartful, artful, and powerful expressions of self in action await our full activation.
The dance provides a place for us to get our energies moving. Anything that may be coming up for us or that we might be carrying, we can bring it to the dancefloor and to our embodied awareness. As a moving meditation it's an opportunity to be with what is, exactly as it is, practicing self-acceptance and non-judgement of ourselves, even the parts of ourselves that we might find hard to love and fully own. As a dynamic form of self expression, it's an active and exciting opportunity to work with ourselves on multiple levels - to shift what needs shifting. In truth, the being(noticing/feeling) and doing(expressing/creating) forces of dance (and of life) are part of the same dynamic process.
