This is a mix tape I did and gave away at my Vibez Express club night in Brighton in 1996. Recorded onto cassette tape with two turntables and a mixer and done with strictly vinyl.
I pressed up 100 tapes to giveaway and did around 10-15 tapes over the years. I did the night. I do not have a copy of the original tape I gave away, this is the "master" in the photo. I cannot remember all the tunes on the tape so will look through my vinyl as I think I can piece the track listing together. If you recognise any of the unknown ones please leave a note.
These are all tunes that I used to play at the night. It is interesting hearing how many slow tunes I played that people danced to. The night used to get busy quite early so people started dancing straight away and so tracks like the Lewis Parker tune where in regular rotation and went down well.
