Description
A special DJ mix influenced by my set at the Daytimers Festival in London. A fairly faithful recreation of the set I played (plus a few tunes I did not mange to get in to my set on the day but had wanted to play).
A variety of genres covered, of which many have a South Asian connection, be it sounds, samples, artists or labels. Rap tracks from Priya Ragu, Roots Manuva and Giggs. Great productions from Samrai and Baalti. Jungle from Killin Time feat Shana Kay, General Levy, Samurai Breaks, Coco Bryce, UK Apache and Break. Big anthems from Flowdan, Chandé & yourboykiran. My Nirobi collaboration with Barakas (aka Bonobo) fusing Bollywood style vibes with Broken Beat. A quality groove from Madlib. A classic from Asha Puthli remixed by Dimitri From Paris. Dubplates and edits. News clips about the original Daytimers events and about Nigel Farage getting "milkshaked". Plus plenty more music treats.
