I had been meaning to do a Hip Hop DJ mix for a while and recently hearing Strange U's track made we want to put it in a mix. I love Hip Hop when it reflects reality situations (especially in the time of so called "Reality TV"). Strange U does that so well. But this mix also has some good dance floor tunes, alongside some more political tracks and some lyrically funny tunes (check Open Mike Eagle). So the mix has some classics, some Nirobi Edits, some dubplates, a few of the original samples of the tunes and some clips of phone in shows and other bits and pieces. Enjoy!
