At both ends of the warm season, the Last Note party marked both the debut and the cadence of the summer's dance. If February's mix wasn't so sure about where to find hope, March answered as it often does. The first Last Note of 2022 was a learning moment as a DJ, the opening gesture hearing the Land of Make Believe. Both times (in soundcheck and in the performance) brought me a tear and it has been a long-journeying friend this year. Thank you. This party happens because people who care and love will it to happen, year on year which is something to celebrate and hold on to
While some tracks are vinyl the majority are digital. Save a few personal additions to bring my experience of the time, all of the tracks were played at either the spring or summer party. In the spirit of the Last Note there is no mixing (well, almost), with all tracks are played in their full and at their designed tempo. There are no sound effects etc.
