The first cut of Mixed Wires was late January 2022. Then, I decided to put it away as a mix for a point later in the year when 2022's cross-wiring was done. That it is, and this second go keeps all the same records used with some order change. I've held on to this feeling throughout the year and actually listened to some of these tracks often, so have really enjoyed remixing it now with the year's experience in sunset. This is really February's mix, though could belong to any of the months. It feels as though 2022's been the kind of moment people are relieved to be moving beyond, not stopping at permanently and like we knew that was going to be the case.
