Jazz has and continues to endure through the ages. Robert Altman said that jazz has endured because it doesn’t have a beginning or an ending: it’s a moment. This moment is in perpetuity as jazz evolves to reach further than its pioneers could have envisaged. As a DJ and radio host of more than 10 years, I aspire to position jazz and djing in the everyday : in that it can evoke memories and deep emotions whilst being heard amongst conversations. Jazz continues as a way to live freely: with courage, individuality, and a certain irreverence; announced with quality and precision. I aim to share this philosophy when I play to create unforgettable experiences.
