That Travis is a singer-songwriter originally from Hong Kong. They primarily work with their voice and have a background of a colonised education and an indigenous Hong Kong upbringing. While the two worlds fight for presentation within their work, That Travis exhibits an organic mixture of all influences through sonic expression, lyrics and visual aids.
As an introduction to their current residency on Resonance Extra, That Travis presents their opera Elephant Song. They share the stereo version of the sound installation originally exhibited at Gallery 46 in Whitechapel earlier this year.
