First Terrace # Live From Southbank Centre - 2nd October 2022

As part of its fifth anniversary celebrations, First Terrace went live on Resonance Extra from Southbank Centre with a triple bill for the Purcell Room, featuring: the premiere of 'The Heart of the Anchoress', a dance opera by Bianca Scout and the Daughter Mary Ensemble; a singular selection of broken rhythms and blacklight textures by Sofheso; 'Power, Pain and Privilege', a specially commissioned audiovisual work by Specimens in collaboration with filmmaker and photographer Lucie Rox; and Peter Broderick’s tribute to The Beacon Sound Choir with the anarchic, virtuosic experimental choral group Musarc.
