Kosta Athanassiadis, AKA XDB, has built a career less on hype than persistence, spanning labels like Dial and Echocord. His sound remains stripped back and enduring, shaped by the same Cubase setup and 30-year-old speakers he’s always used. RA.1003 captures XDB in a reflective mood: a hushed yet absorbing mix of Valentino Mora, Caldera, Robert Hood, DJ Sprinkles and Marcellus Pittman. It’s the sound of a DJ who knows the value of persistence as much as restraint.
