Vicxxi Ama is a rising star in the underground world of Grime. Having already played guest mixes on radio stations such as BBC 1XTRA, Rinse FM, Reprezent Radio, Mode London and Flex FM, she brings a refreshing focus back to the core elements of Grime music - syncopated snares, gliding squares and Korg gunshots. Aside from her radio features, she has been a regular fixture at The Igloo, pumping the studio and surrounding area with the original ‘thump’ of the Grime Garage sound.
Her Reform Radio Takeover mix features music from leading Grime labels such as Da Black Ops and Slimzos Recordings, as well as music from prolific Grime producers of the 2020s. She takes Grime to the core by keeping the focus of the mix on gritty snares, gunshots, military brass and daring strings.
