The Takeover w/ Profound Mystery 29th November 2021

The name Profound Mystery comes from my go-to English/Japanese dictionary's translation of the word 摩訶不思議 (makafushigi), which is the nickname of one of my favourite wrestlers. The "maka" bit means "great", the "fu" bit means "not" or "un-", and the "shigi" bit means "guess". The Great Un-Guessable: it may not be the easiest path to walk but that's the kind of energy I want to bring to this label and this show. This inaugural takeover features sounds from the Appalachians and Indonesia, Estonia and the Basque Country, Brittany and Chorlton-cum-Hardy.
