Morocco-based independent record label drawing from Afrofuturism blueprints while seeking a balanced celestial future far-off of the standardized paradigms. Astrofever Records aims to uphold a wide spectrum & serve as a forward-thinking imprint for like-minded artists. Hailing from north Africa, Mouhcine Zouitina, known as Polyswitch made a name for himself as one of the most influential figures in the Moroccan electronic music landscape. Introduced to the scene over more than a decade ago, Mouhcine first became known for providing his hometown ‘’Casablanca’’ with a monthly event back in 2011, which was a vanguard to the city’s club scene at the time. Inspired by the likes of; Prince, Sun-Ra, Herbie Hancock, J Dilla, Miles Davis, Weather Report, Underground Resistance, 4 hero, Bugz in the Attic – his performances consistently channel a broad range of musical currents, all blended masterfully under one roof, bridging the gap between his native African roots & universal dance-floors.
