John Joseph is the founder and purveyor of PITS (Place In Time & Space), a label from Detroit, Michigan. Begun in 2016 as an after hours event for showcasing up and coming producers and DJs popping up in the city’s underground, it has morphed into a full music community, hosting a diverse mix of digital EP releases, podcast mixes, as well as a 12” vinyl VA mixer published last year. He now focuses on building a bridge between the European electronic music circuit and upcoming Detroit talents through his bookings, whilst also maintaining an eye for new artists to feature on the label.
