Maimuna (DJ MuMu) is a homegrown Manchester based DJ of African Heritage. She has performed at high-profile events & venues including the legendary Golden Lion in Todmorden, for Factory International at the Nia Centre and the unmissable Beat-Herder Music Festival.
She takes you on a musical journey of glitterballs and disco moves, with her pick and mix of vinyl only sets from the 70’s, and beyond, with a sprinkling of Soul and Hip Hop.
Her influences are strongly connected to nights at legendary Manchester music venues, the Millionaire Club, Hacienda, Pips, De Villes, Club Phoenix, The Venue Nightclub, and the Boardwalk.
Alongside the music, Maimuna works at Factory International in the Factory Academy Team, nurturing the next generation of arts professionals.
