THT GRL joins The Get Up to talk about the importance of diverse lineups and the lack of female representation on current festival billings. She'll then be in the mix with a 30 minute energetic set perfect to start your Tuesday morning.
We're celebrating International Women's Day all week on The Get Up. Yelena will be joined by women doing inspiring things in Manchester's creative scene, and she'll be playing music by amazing female artists all week. This event has been supported with a grant from Manchester City Council.
THT GRL is a Manchester based DJ best known for her high energy UKG and DnB sets. She’s played at legendary venues like Warehouse Project and Hidden, as well as festivals like Gottwood, Parklife, and Hide & Seek, and she’s supported artists like Mike Skinner, General Levy, and Girls Don’t Sync.
