Manchester's Black Owned Studios is the UK’s first Afro beauty co-working studios, Black-owned beauty product marketplace, and community events space. Its founder, Efia Mainoo, joins the show to talk about her brilliant space, the reality of setting up a business and offers advice to others wanting to do the same. We're celebrating International Women's Day all week on The Get Up. Yelena will be joined by women doing inspiring things in Manchester's creative scene, and she'll be playing music by amazing female artists all week.
