Kajsa Lindgren (b. 1990) is a swedish composer and sound-artist mainly working with field recordings and different ways to approach and perform them, often through spatial, multichannel distribution. Her work includes electroacoustic compositions and sound installations, as well as compositions for acoustic traditional instruments. In 2019 Lindgren joined Warm Winters Ltd. after releases with Hyperdelia (WOMB) and Longform Editions (Undercurrents) with her second album release Everyone Is Here – all of them exploring the notion of memory through field recordings. Unlike the core of WOMB, where field recordings were made based on the memories by others and filtered through underwater recordings, Everyone Is Here explores archival recordings that Lindgren stumbled upon in her parents’ old basement.
