Reform has been talking about Censorship On Air with specific focus on the use of the N-word. This issue has been raised internally by the creatives at Reform. We are a community station, host to a variety of communities, genres and cultures, therefore we have a responsibility to listen to the concerns raised around censorship and who it serves and arguably disenfranchises.
To do this we created an Open Forum which you can hear here to create a policy that works for all and that doesn't limit expression. There's still time to be part of the conversation and inform the policy that we create. The policy will be reviewed yearly and there are other opportunities later down the line to get involved.
