Emma McGuigan, aka em_laa, aka DJ Barry, aka the artist formerly known as Emma Chibuku, has been djing since 2001, starting out at Liverpool club Chibuku Shake-Shake where she was a resident for over a decade. Playing the deeper end of house, techno and disco, she warmed up for some of her heroes, including Green Velvet, Andrew Weatherall, Etienne De Crecy and Cassius. Emma has played across the UK and beyond, including Fabric, The End, Lowlife & The Warehouse Project, one mad trip to Russia, New York, and countless trips to Croatia for the Garden Festival/Love International, Dimensions, Unknown and Electric Elephant.
So what should we expect Barry?
