Maracuya Soundsystem w/ Kiki Hitomi 3rd March 2020

This months guest is Japanese singer/songwriter and one half of Waq Waq Kingdom. Kiki is a well established artist, with a rich career including King Midas Sound, Dokkebi Q and her own solo work. Kiki's new project alongside Dj Scotch Egg (Shigeru Ishihara) is an exploration in the combining of traditional Japanese Minyo sounds with modern day electronic influences such as gabber and footwork.
Maracuya Underground tracks include Nambian Trance, Indian hip-hop and Bengali dub step.
We will also be previewing our sets at Tribal Gathering this month with a special 45 minute set, showcasing our expanded global set.
