Description
In the second part of our Future Sound of… series, Maracuya Soundsystem will be focusing on the sounds of East Asia and bringing you the most exciting new artists from the region. We wanted to celebrate and share the most exciting and forward-thinking music from the continent, as well as hearing from musicians and DJs about how their lives have been affected by COVID-19. This week’s guests include; Davaajargal Tsaschikher from Mongolia, Machina from Korea based in Tokyo, Howie Lee from Beijing and Korean lead singer of Blackpool based Tirikilatops, Bon Carrot. They represent an exciting wave of talent from East Asia, with their own unique music style showing the diverse range of sounds coming from the region. Throughout the show we will be playing songs from across the region, including a ambient mini mix to end the show.
