A pair of misfits in an small car take a road trip, passing through mostly deserted Californian desert. On the way they acquire and subsequently get rid of an unwanted body, going via a 50s style diner at some point, as is usual in these situations. A high speed car chase later ensues, and this is what it all sounds like.
