Based in Thessaloniki, Journeys: Into Europe features people-on-the-move and those working to support them. In this episode, we hear from Hope. Hope currently works for Border Violence Monitoring Network (BVMN), an independent network of NGOs and grassroots collectives who monitor the human rights violations taking place against people-on-the-move on the so-called ‘Balkan route’. She tells us about her experiences in Greece, shedding light on the harsh realities taking place at the EU’s external borders. She also selects some music to accompany her words.
