For World Refugee Day 2017 we've got a very special show speaking to Charlotte from Journeys Festival about this year's event and showcasing some of the artists who'll be performing and exhibiting their work. Manchester 02 - 15 October 2017
Journeys Festival International invites you to two weeks of creative events, taking place across the city through the continual support of local organisations. The Festival celebrates the artistic talents of exceptional refugee and asylum seeker artists, and explores work that shares the refugee experience.
The Festival will present internationally acclaimed artists alongside the showcasing of local talent at a series of vibrant events to suit all ages and interests. Featuring an eclectic, global mix of music, dance, visual and digital art, discussion, graffiti and cutting edge theatre.
