"Loula Yorke is a live artist and noise-maker whose practice dances in the space where techno meets leftism. Known for her live performance tools: a family of modular synthesisers housed in roughly-hewn chunks of wood. Loula's 4-track EP, Crowd Control Vol 2 , is "a meditation on human contact set against the hustle and bustle of crowded spaces sourced from around the world". Abrasive, noisy and thoughtful sounds exist against these field recordings.
