Description
Heliocentric's founding members, Atiké (Me Gusta) & Chandé (Daytimers), reunite for the first time in one revolution around the Sun, to embark on a special musical voyage in two parts for International Jazz Day.
Part One, "Under the all embracing light of the Sun...", delves into timeless and recent findings in the all encompassing field of Jazz from Soul, Spiritual, Cosmic, Funk, House & Broken Beat.
With the foundational principles in place, Part Two, "...there lies pathways to infinite new possibilities...", connects the dots to further (sonic) potentialities, via the accelerating & alternating forces of Bruk, Techno, Garage, UK Funky, Jungle, Footwork & other new developments.
Heliocentric's past voyages have been helmed the likes of Kaidi Tatham, Tina Edwards, SNO, La Perla, Szajna and Contours and taking flight from Night & Day Cafe, YES & Wilderness Cafe.
