It’s our second time on air this April and we’re excited to welcome Alicia Gardener-Trejo to the show on International Jazz Day. Alicia is a composer, baritone sax and woodwind player, based in Birmingham… We chat to her about getting a DEGREE in Jazz and the complexities of playing with her 11-piece ensemble, Bobtail. We’ll recount some jazz memories, play plenty of our favourites… and have a look into some ‘listening bars’ that are popping up across the country.
