GET HEARD is a writing competition set up by Ergon Theatre for Under 30 year olds to write about how climate change effects what is most important to them. The project was borne out of a desire to platform young, climate voices in an age where the older generation have a habit of claiming to be “more educated” on the issue - here’s looking at you Richard Madeley and that shameful interview with Just Stop Oil on GMB. Our GET HEARD radio show presents our 5 winning pieces of writing alongside some climate contemplation and music curated by the artists themselves. GET HEARD was created in association with Manchester Fashion Institute and Man Met, funded by Natural Environment Research Council and supported by Contact and Reform.
