Currently residing as in-house booker and diary holder at Northern Quarter basement venue Soup Kitchen, Simon has also brought everyone from Hookworms to East India Youth to Manchester as promoter Grey Lantern, while also spending a number of years shouting into the void as a music hack for the likes of Pitchfork, NME, The Skinny and The Quietus, among others.
Having played in bands for around fifteen years, including Manchester's Patty Hearst and With That Knife, Ed has also contributed his skills to a youth music programme at Z-Arts in Hulme and as a live music correspondent for The Skinny and Turn It Out.
