With a mixed bag of sounds from Dub to Folk, Triphop and Nujazz. The easy going Pretorian based artist caters for all his followers who, like him, have a good sense of music and take it very seriously. Music collector, Visual story teller and Sketch Artist, Itu widely known as Aphro immersed himself in the underground music scene around Pretoria back in 2008. Co- founded Broken-Fix an underground label that focuses on experimental music. Also part of Lutzo Kollektiv Project in Pretoria, DJ’s who have a passion for collecting music, mostly in vinyl form and have no reservations in dropping the needle on occasion. Used to co-host alternative sessions like Plastic Sessions, Ice Cream Lounge and Eloquent Sundays. Currently pushing his Mix Masala podcast which focuses on people who collect music and love to share it. Aphro’s ease to move between worlds, gives him a unique spin on the decks.
