Dj coco.em is a professional DJ based in Nairobi Kenya. She plays a wide variety of genres ranging from afro house, kuduro, kwaito, lingala and electronic dance music. Coco Em has performed in Niger and Switzerland as well as North American Canada where she played at the Red Bull Music festival Montreal, Nuits d’Afrique festival, Rinse France FM takeover among other shows. Coco Em has been involved with several community based projects which focus on the education of female and femme identifying communities in both music production and Cinematography fields. Coco Em's career highlight was an invitation to perform at the renowned Trans Musicales festival in Rennes, France last December. The festival is known for having discovered artists such as Stromae, Lenny Kravitz, Bjork among others. She is gearing up for a European tour this Summer following her recent signing with Earth-Agency in the UK.
